Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and love the excitement of working in retail? We're looking for enthusiastic Seasonal Casual Retail Assistants to join us from April – May to support our Mother's Day trade, with availability to work across multiple days of the week including weekends.
About the Role:
Our Retail Assistants are our brand ambassadors, the essential link between our products and our customers. Coached by store management, our retail assistants drive the success of the store by influencing sales, excelling in customer service, and sharing their product knowledge. The store team shapes the look, feel, and atmosphere of our stores, making them warm and inviting places to shop.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Influence and increase sales in a one to one selling environment
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets by using effective selling skills; focusing on up-selling, UPS, AOV and productivity
- Build the bond between our brand and our customer, by answering queries, providing exemplary service and adapting your approach depending on individuals personalities and needs
- Learn and confidently share FRANCESCA product knowledge to maximise sales and provide an unforgettable customer experience. This includes the FRANCESCA story, production process, our Company values, product knowledge, trends and best sellers
- Encourage customer loyalty - discussing upcoming collection launches, obtaining customer data.
- Be a brand and store ambassador by maintaining a stylish and well-presented appearance
- Merchandising the store and maintaining high shop floor standards; taking pride in your environment
- Operating the till system, handling financial transactions including returns and exchanges

- Strong selling skills, ideally with experience in a boutique or one-on-one sales environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to initiate contact and speak clearly with customers.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, sales-driven atmosphere—our store can get busy!
- A positive, “can-do” attitude and a love for being part of a successful team.
- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Must be available to start from Early April through to Mid-May, 2026. There may also be the opportunity for an ongoing casual role for the right candidates at the end of this time.
