Francesca offers a broad range of engravable products and engraving services. We use state of the art technology to laser engrave your chosen items with monograms, quotes, names, dates and illustrations.

Due to the level of customisation, Etch orders have a 2-3 day processing time. Please allow for extra time during promotional periods.

Your product may differ from the preview provided. Fine hairline scratches may be present after engraving due to processing. If wearing with other charms or items of jewellery, scratching may occur due to the nature of the material; this is not covered under manufacturing warranty.

Francesca is not responsible for editing submitted images for Illustrate pieces. Our team will engrave your piece as per your uploaded request. Font sizes are edited at our discretion for best fit on Etch pieces unless stated otherwise.

WARRANTY & TERMS OF PURCHASE

There are strictly no returns or exchanges on engraved items due to the level of customisation. Our team will do all they can to ensure your order is perfect, though we cannot guarantee order changes or edits can be made after purchase. Your order must be 100% correct prior to checkout, if you need assistance before placing your order please reach out to us via live chat or phone (Monday-Friday 9am-4pm).

Francesca does not accept the submission of profane language or imagery . Your order will be cancelled from our system if the engraving request goes against these guidelines. 

There is a 3 month manufacturing warranty on Francesca pieces; this covers only faults that may occur due to the manufacturing process. Please see our extended warranty & terms here* If your Etch piece is engraved outside of Francesca it automatically voids this warranty. Additionally, Etch charms and pendants worn on non-Francesca bases do not qualify for our offered warranty.

Etch Pendant
Our Etch Pendant is designed to flip around which means it may rotate in transit and whilst wearing. Sometimes your piece does just need to be flipped in order for the engraving to be facing the correct way. This may involve rotating the disk or the entire piece. Reach out to our Care team for any further assistance!

Additional Etch after Purchase - Terms & Conditions

We offer an additional engraving service at Francesca for existing Francesca Etch Pieces. There is a $12 handling fee plus postage - you can use the form below to start your request! Our team will endeavour to respond within 1 business day.

Additional engraving must meet the requirements of each individual items specs (i.e. characters per line). There is a 2-3 day processing time for additional engraving requests plus postage timeframes for return to studio and the customer.

The purchase of additional engraving does not extend your original contractual warranty. This service applies only to items in our Etch Collection. *Please note your additional engraving request must be approved by our Support Team prior to sending back your product.

Our iconic Locket collection can be personalised with images of your choice, simply by uploading online or by visiting in store. There is a 1-2 day processing time online for locket orders, alternatively you can visit one of our stores to process your locket on the spot. 

One complimentary print for all lockets placed online/in store at time of purchase. Photo upload must be uploaded in JPEG or PNG format and no higher than either 20 megapixels or 20 megabytes.

Images for your gift box and locket are printed in black & white, on glossy 200gsm photo paper. These photos are not waterproof and can become damaged if worn in water or exposed to humid conditions.

By uploading a photo and purchasing a locket, you agree to Francesca staff members viewing the photo. Our team is not responsible for editing your uploaded images, your photos are fit as per the preview uploaded. Francesca does not accept the submission of sexually explicit or distressing images, or profane language for our Locket collection.

Warranty & Terms of Purchase

Lockets cannot be added to Francesca Bracelets. Manufacturing warranty is only valid for jewellery (lockets and chains). Both complimentary and purchased images are not covered under any warranty. Additionally, lockets attached to non-Francesca bases automatically void warranty. Francesca guarantees that images submitted to our team are removed permanently from our computer software data bases once your order has been processed and dispatched. Your images stay secured to your order history via Shopify. See their Privacy Policy here.

If you’re adding your Locket onto a chain with other charms, scratching may occur - this is not covered by warranty. Locket images damaged by water or humidity are not covered under warranty but can be replaced at the customers expense for a small fee. Our Lockets are all processed by hand; images are edited, templated, cut and inserted by our dispatch team, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any concerns about your received product! Additional Locket Images
Additional images can be purchased here: under 'Add an Image' ! You receive 1 x pre-cut image to fit your Francesca Box, 1 x pre-cut image for your locket and 3 x spare images on a strip (not cut out). The same image conditions apply when uploading photos. Locket photos are not covered by warranty.

Our Solder collection is accessible through our Create App: Design with Charms

Soldered pieces incur a 5-6 business days processing time due to the high level of personalisation. Your finished product may differ slightly from the online preview. Only charms within the soldering collection may be added (only available through our Create App online, not available in stores).

WARRANTY & TERMS OF PURCHASE

There are no returns or exchanges on soldered pieces due to their bespoke nature. Your piece will be soldered as per your creation through our App, orders cannot be changed once processed as advised on our website.Francesca's 3 month warranty applies. The soldering link is gold-filled and will therefore be a slightly darker gold from the chain. Please note chain links may twist whilst wearing.

Terms of additional soldering

Additional solder requests must be approved by our team prior to return. Soldering is complimentary, however you will be invoiced for your requested products and postage prior to us personalising your piece. Our team can only personalise your existing Story Chain or Bracelet with existing solder Collection items. By sending your pieces back to us and purchasing additional items you agree that your request is final and cannot be returned or exchanged unless deemed faulty. Our team cannot change position or remove existing soldered charms from your piece.

Product exclusions from the create range will specify in the description - we recommend reading the full description to ensure you are purchasing the correct piece.

We encourage you to leave a note at checkout of how you'd like your create pieces attached if they are purchased separately and not via the app.

Create Charms are designed to be worn across all of our create bases - our charms feature a unique 'keyring' design jump-ring that easily moves from our bracelets to our necklaces and vice versa. Francesca Hoop Charms do not include this jump-ring.

WARRANTY & TERMS OF PURCHASE

Francesca Charms are purpose designed for our own base products and must be added to create bases only to ensure warranty is valid. Attaching your Francesca Charm to a non-Create piece will void the warranty. Furthermore, Franc Create bases are purpose designed for our charms only, adding non-Francesca pieces to Francesca chains, hoops or bracelets will void the warranty of those pieces.

Attaching a charm to a non-Francesca piece will also void the warranty on all pieces applicable.

If no notes are left to specify charm placement, our team will attach to their discretion. Alternatively you can find the instructions on how to attach in our FAQ 'Attaching & Adjusting'. If at any stage you see a gap in the 'jumpring' fastening your charm to your piece, please contact us on Live Chat, or pop into a store to have this tightened.
