Trove began with a jewellery box.

It belonged to our grandmother before it was passed down to our mum, Mandy. Growing up, we were fascinated by everything inside it. 

Years later, Rachel found herself thinking about that jewellery box and about that feeling. That gravitational pull to the treasure trove. Maybe it was your mum’s, your grandmother’s, your aunt’s or your older sister’s. A drawer, a box or a special hiding place filled with pieces you were desperate to try on. Because before we understood what jewellery was worth, we understood how it could make us feel.

That memory became the beginning of Trove. For those little girls, and the women they grew into.

As adults, dressing up looks a little different, but we don’t think the instinct ever leaves us. We still reach for jewellery to try on a new version of ourselves, remember a moment, person or place, or simply because of how it makes us feel.
