Telstra has announced that Francesca is a state finalist in the 2023 Telstra Best of Business Awards, nominated in the following categories:
Accelerating Women - Businesses actively challenging exclusion and inequality to create meaningful and lasting equity for women.
Building Communities - Businesses working to make a positive impact on culture and society so people from all walks of life can thrive as part of a supportive community.
The annual awards showcase some of Australia's leading businesses, having completed a rigorous judging process that evaluates essential traits for success including strategy, financials, culture, vision and values. Over 20,000 businesses were nominated nationally, then narrowed down to state finalists.

Creative Director Rachel Vasicek reflected on the Accelerating Women nomination. “We know what it feels like to be the only women in what can be a male dominated industry and we are extremely proud to have an all female leadership team. It is important that Francesca empowers women within our business but also by raising awareness and partnering with organisations that champion womens causes such as two of our long term partners, Endometriosis Australia and the National Breast Cancer Foundation”.
Francesca is no stranger to the prestigious awards having won the Tasmania Small Business Award, and Telstra Tas Business of the year at the 2015 Telstra Business Awards. Creative Director Rachel Vasicek was also recognised in the 2020 Telstra Tasmanian Business Women’s Awards winning the Emerging Leader Award.
State winners of the 2023 Telstra Best of Business Awards will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday 31 January, at the Hotel Grand Chancellor. The winner from each state and territory will then compete for the national award in March 2023.
